Products are used in Communications Cadence for Selligent journeys. It allows defining specific rules based on a product to avoid a user to receive multiple mails concerning the same product at the same time.
The Product toolbar provides following functionality:
- New product
- Delete
- Properties: provides access to the properties of the product
Creating a new product
When creating a new product, the following properties must be defined:
- Name: name by which it will be available for selection
- Description: a description of the product
Using products
A product can be selected when defining the journey properties. It allows indicating which specific product is targeted by the selected journey. Products are equally included in Journey reporting.
Products can also be used when defining rules for Communications Cadence: this configuration allows defining the maximum number of emails sent to a user for a specific product.
