Express allows non tech-savvy users to create and send email newsletters, without having to be an expert at HTML design. Express provides a simple and clean interface to edit the content of newsletters based on a predefined email template.
This template determines the layout and location of the content. When creating a new email based on a template, the email's layout and where the content should go is already predefined. Apart from Express there are also a few other ways to add content to a template-based email: load articles directly from an article list, retrieve the articles from an external location so they are predefined when creating a new email in Express, or use the Broadcast API to send the content and create a template-based email in Selligent.
