Social Tracking

When social widgets are added to a message, a sensor is created. The new sensor is added on the 'Sensors' tab with a specific icon, indicating it is a social sensor:

Because the sensor is marked as 'social' specific reporting can be provided for these sensors.

 

Tracking on Social Media can be summarized in four main steps:

Step 1: The target user received an email with a Social Link included.

Step 2: The click done on the email containing the Social Link is caught and stored into the FLAGS table.

Step 3: The Social Link is published on the corresponding Social Network.

Step 4: Clicks done on the Social Link are stored into the SOCIAL_FLAGS table.
