Social Tracking in a Behavioral journey
When combining Social Tracking with Taxonomy, the contact's behavior identified through Social Tracking can be used in further marketing journeys.
Prerequisites
In order to use this data, it’s mandatory to have an Audience list with a Taxonomy linked to it.
Once you have the Audience list configured , additional columns are added to the profile extension created between the Taxonomy list and the Audience list. Those columns are used to store the number of Social Link publishing, the number of people who followed this link, and the preferred Social Network for all contacts of the list.
These fields can be retrieved in Selligent Audiences by selecting the profile extension created when linking the taxonomy list:
Setting up the journey
The following example explains how a behavioral journey can be based on data gathered from the Social Tracking/Taxonomy combination.
1. Create a journey and insert an Audience list with a linked taxonomy list.
2. Activate the inclusion of required profile extensions in the properties of the List.
3. Insert a Split component and the messages related to each branch of the journey.
4. In the properties of the Split component, define the source field used to get the split criteria.
5. Define, in the bottom panel of the properties, the values that should be available in the 'Split' component (it is possible to retrieve these values by using the 'predefined values' option.
6. Link the Split component to the emails using the corresponding criteria.
