4. Adapt the Unsubscribe Link
In the "Newsletter" email, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom. In the Links panel on the right, find the unsubscribe link, double-click it to open the properties.
In the Destination field, select 'Existing journey' and look for the "Newsletter Unsubscribe" journey. When expanding the journey, the Input Component you placed earlier, is listed. Select it.
Click 'Ok' when done and save your email.
Clicking the link in the email will now redirect to the Unsubscribe journey.
Note: It is important that the Newsletter email journey and the Unsubscribe journey use the same Audience List. The contact who clicks in the first journey, must still be 'identified' in the second journey. If the second journey uses a different Audience List, the Data Component needs to store values for someone that does not exist in that Audience List. This is not possible.
You can test the link from the Newsletter email journey, you should be redirected to the Unsubscribe journey.
