Email Messages

Messages are emails that can be used in a marketing journey. Messages can be sent in Single Batch Journeys or in Transactional journeys, as well as added to a blank journey as an email component, or used in AB Journeys or Recurring Batch Journey

Messages can be created from scratch in the Design Editor or HTML Editor.

• When a message is created from scratch, all layout and content is defined in the message itself and the message creator can immediately use this message in a journey or make changes to any part of it as needed.
• When the message is created from a template, some layout and content is defined in the template and only parts of the message can be edited when used to create and send a message in a journey. Messages based on templates are created when using the template in a journey.
