Admin Configuration — The Admin Configuration portal provides access to all Marigold Engage modules and allows you to configure permissions, add user accounts and more. You can access this area when you first log into the Marigold Engage portal, or from any module by selecting from the drop-down list in the upper right corner under the User's login name.
Content — This term describes template, email message, web page, mobile push notification or SMS content
Data selection — Marigold Engage applications allow you to create sub-selections of data from your data sources, referred to as Data Selections, to use for filtering message audiences and for routing audience members through your marketing journeys.
Library — Tree view of folders and subfolders where uploaded images are stored that can be reused in Marigold Engage content, such as emails, web pages, and push notifications.

Message — Basic email message that can be edited by the user and then sent as a single email blast to an audience list, or used in a marketing journey.
Page — Web page that has been designed using the Content module in Marigold Engage. Pages can be used in journeys when you want to redirect the contact to a form or other website.
Published — Content that is ready to be sent or used in a journey. Content such as messages, pages, notifications, can be sent using marketing journeys or via APIs. Content must be saved, validated and published before it can be sent through a journey. Content may also required approval before publication, if the organization has Approval Management enabled. Changes can be made to published content, but the changes will only be visible when the content is published again.
Push notification — A push notification is an unsolicited message sent to a user. These notifications are usually short text messages and are sent to users who have opted in to receive them or who are currently using an application that is sending the notification. Marigold Engage allows you to create mobile push notifications that include personalized user data and emojis.
Placeholder — Section in a template that is modifiable by the message creator who is using the template in a journey.
Template — A predefined message layout with predefined content that can be used by email message designers. Templates use a content locking mechanism to limit the fields a message designer can modify or add in the message before publishing and sending it.
