Coming Soon: Message Cadence Global Cap (Email only)

Background

When multiple marketing campaigns are sent in a short period of time, subscribers can become overwhelmed with excessive communication. This often results in increased unsubscribe rates, decreased engagement, and potential damage to your brand's reputation.

Solution

We're excited to introduce Message Cadence!

This new feature allows Account Admins to set message cadence caps by channel at the client account level. In the first version of this release, you can:

  • Set a global cap for Email at the account level by day, week, or month.

  • Apply caps to marketing messaging sent via campaigns, Lifecycle Optimizer (triggered flows), and API.

  • Continue sending critical transactional messages without interruption

  • Exclude messages sent via campaigns, Lifecycle Optimizer (triggered flows), and API from following the Message Cadence rule(s) to ensure critical marketing messages reach their subscribers.

This is just the first version of our frequency capping solution. We’ll be adding support for multiple brands and more granular segmentation options using Label criteria.
