Clipping Estimator
Background
Email clipping has recently become an issue Marketers are trying to avoid. In Gmail for example email clipping is when an email exceeds Gmail’s HTML size limit of 102KB, causing Gmail to truncate the message. When this happens, Gmail displays a notice at the bottom of the email: "[Message clipped] View entire message".
Solution
Weight Checker is a tool providing insights into email size before they send. This helps marketers avoid unintentional clipping by email providers such as Gmail and Yahoo.
What this looks like in Sailthru
In an Email Composer template, select the Preview option. If your message is within the size limit, you'll see a green check mark. If it's outside the size limit, you'll see the estimated size in red.
