Shopify Integration metadata syncing
Background
Our Shopify integration has always synced standard customer data to profiles and content data to the Content Library. However it was never built to sync Shopify custom metafields. This has meant customers have relied on manual workarounds, external data feeds, or API-based solutions to bridge the gap.
Solution
The Shopify integration will soon be syncing all custom product metadata to the Content Library.
What this looks like in Sailthru
Customers will now see all custom metafields populating into the Additional Content Fields section of a content item.
New light and dark Overlay themes
Background
Sailthru Visual Overlay Composer has always had one theme available that requires a white bar at the top containing the dismissal ‘X’. This has caused issues for Marketers as it is a limitation to their overlay design.
Solution
We’ve introduced two new themes, light and dark, that don’t require a white bar at the top. The color of the ‘X’ can be chosen depending on if the desired background is light or dark by selecting a theme.
In addition, Marketers will also now be able to:

enable overlay dismissal by a click/tap anywhere outside of the overlay

Add a background image under the entire overlay
