Print Pieces
A Print Piece is an asset utilized within Print Campaigns. If your print shop vendor requires specific criteria about the piece that is being printed (such as its size and weight dimensions, delivery schemas, etc.), you can define that information within a Print Piece.
Access
The Print Pieces screen is accessible via the Main menu; select Assets > Content > Print Pieces
Create a new Print Piece
To create a new Print Piece:

Above the list of existing Print Pieces, click the + New button. A blank Print Pieces form is displayed.

In the Name field, enter a name for this Print Piece.

From the Piece Type drop-down menu, select the piece type (Letters, Flats, or Postcards), and if it’s automated, machined, etc.

From the Piece Rate drop-down menu select Regular or Non-Profit.

From the Mail Class drop-down menu, select First Class or Standard.

In the Presort Schemes section, check one or more options.

In the Width / Height field, enter the dimensions of the mail piece, in inches.

In the Count field, enter the number of mail pieces (between one and 1000) that are in the sample.

In the Thickness field, enter the thickness of the mail piece.

In the Weight field, enter the weight of the mail piece.

When finished, click Save.
View or edit a Print Piece
To view or edit an existing Print Piece:

When the screen is displayed, a list of all the current Print Pieces is displayed in the left-hand side of the Workspace. Optionally, you can filter this list by typing in all or part of a Print Piece name in the Search by Name field.

Click on the Print Piece that you want to view. The Workspace is refreshed to show the details of the selected Print Piece.

Make any necessary changes to the Print Piece parameters.

To save your changes, click Save.
Assign a Print Piece to a Campaign
Once you've created your Print Piece, you can use it within one or more Print Campaigns.
To assign a Print Piece to a Print Campaign:

In the Tool Ribbon, click Options > Message > Add Postal Processing. Within the Message section of the Campaign screen, the system adds a new Postal Processing section.

The Print Piece field allows you to search for an existing Print Piece. Either begin typing in the Print Piece name, or click the browse button (magnifying glass icon) to browse for and select it. To view the details of the select Print Piece, click the jump-to button (green up-arrow icon). The system opens the Print Piece within a new tab in the Top Navigation Pane.
