Event Maps: Review

The Review section is used to define the Event map deployment schedule.

Scheduling

This section is used to define the sending schedule for One time and Date triggered Event maps.

Send schedule

This can be defined for both One time and Date triggered Event maps. Schedule the time when the Event map will be sent. It could be sent immediately after queuing or at a specific date and time.

Select Start after Queueing to schedule the Event map immediately when ready or, if you want to set a custom start date / time at some point in the future, select Start on, then enter the start date and time for the send schedule.

Optionally, click Advanced Options to define further options.

Define the send frequency:

  • Daily: Enter an interval (every "X" days).

  • Weekly: Select one or more days of the week.

  • Monthly: Select a specific number ("15th of the month" for example), or define a business rule to calculate a date ("second Tuesday of every month" for example).

  • Yearly: Select a specific month / date ("January 15th" for example), or define a business rule to calculate a date ("second Wednesday in August" for example).

Select the time of day when Event map data are sent:

  • To send all day long, select the Send All Day tab.

  • To define a Send Window, select the Send Only Between tab. Enter a specific start time and end time.

By default, the send schedule will run until the all the data is sent. Optionally, to enter a send schedule end date, select Stop Sending On, then enter the stop end date and time.

Recurrence schedule

This is applicable for Date triggered Event maps only. For Date triggered Event map, define when the queue schedule should begin, at what frequency and by when it should stop.

Select Begin Immediately if you want the Recurrence Schedule to go live immediately when the Event map is published. If you want to set a custom start date / time at some point in the future, select Begin on, then select a date and a time. You can set the recurrence schedule frequency to be either daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. You can also set the schedule end date and time.

By default, the recurrence schedule will run indefinitely, until the Event map is stopped or cancelled. Optionally, to enter a recurrence schedule end date, select Stop Building On, then enter the stop end date and time.
