FTP / S3 Profiles

Overview

The FTP / S3 Profiles screen is used for setting up data transfer methods with Engage+.

A common method of getting data into and out of the platform is by way of file transfers using FTP. The platform allows you to set up one or more FTP Profiles that contain the necessary information to connect to the FTP server.

From this same screen, you can also create an S3 Profile for use with an Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) Bucket. An Amazon S3 bucket is a public cloud storage resource available in Amazon Web Services. Amazon S3 buckets are similar to file folders, and are used to store data.

FTP and S3 Profiles are reusable, so that they can be selected when defining various other Engage+ assets, such as FTP Import Templates, Export Templates, and Print Campaigns.
