Update Options

Overview

Cheetah Digital constantly gathers information needed for the platform's Campaign Reports. The platform can be configured to determine how frequently the reports should be updated, as well as which specific domains to track. The report update settings are configured at a client account level, and will be applied to every Campaign and every report within the account. However, you can optionally override the account-level settings at a Campaign level, or at a report level (see Campaign Reports for details on that process).

Note: Reports can also be manually updated when viewing them -- (see Campaign Reports for details on that process).

Access

The Update Options screen is accessible by the following method:

  • From the Admin Banner Bar, select Settings > Reports > Update Options

 Configure Report Update Options

To configure the automated report update options:

  1. To enable automated report updates, place a check mark in the Auto-update all new reports on a schedule check box.

  2. Place check marks next to the days of week on which you want the automated update schedule to run.

  3. From the Every X Hours drop-down menu, select the automated update frequency. The possible frequency ranges from every hour to every twelve hours.

  4. From the First X Days drop-down menu, indicate for how long this automated schedule should run after the Campaign is initially launched. The possible values are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 days.

  5. On this screen, you can optionally enter the email domains on which you want the platform to perform detailed and comparison tracking as it relates to Campaigns. Enter the domain in the Add New Domain field (for example: "@yahoo.com"), then click the add button (plus-sign icon).

  6. Repeat step 5 as needed to enter additional domains. To remove a domain, click the remove button (X icon) next to that domain.

Note: Specific domain information will be listed in the Campaign Reports only if the domain has been added to this screen before the Campaign is launched. See Campaign Report -- Domain Delivery for more details on the domain reporting features.

  1. When finished, click save.
