Onboarding Template

If you have a specific purpose in mind for the Journeys you want to create but aren't sure how to make your vision come to life, then we recommend taking a look at the templates that we have available.

Note: This template is compatible with events originating from both Cheetah Digital by Zeta and Interactive Moments (signals or moments). Details of the specific events applicable in this template are provided below.

The Onboarding template is used when a new user is added to your platform, whether by an external trigger or from a table update.

After welcoming the user by email, it will then introduce them to more aspects of your product, brand, or store. If you choose to include incentives, such as an introductory offer, you can wait a while to see if the user takes the primary action (such as a purchase) and, if not, remind them via a 'Last Chance' message. If at any point the user takes the primary action, the purchase event notify Journeys, recording the goal achieved and then removing the user from the journey.

If you choose not to make any edits to the template, you will need to setup the following within the Cheetah Digital by Zeta platform to be able to publish your Onboarding Journey:

  • 4 x Welcome Emails

  • 1 x User Sign-Up event (Signup event map in Cheetah Digital by Zeta)

  • 1 x Purchase event (Purchase event map in Cheetah Digital by Zeta)
