Add or Remove Business Unit Administration Role

Business Unit Administrators have administration privileges for all the users within one or more Business Units. Organization Administrators are able to assign or remove the Business Unit Administrator Role.

Note: This feature is available for Organization Administrators.

Add Business Unit Administration Role

Business Unit administration privileges can be granted to a System User, thereby upgrading their role. Or, an existing Business Unit Administrator can be granted expanded privileges over additional Business Units.

Before you grant Business Unit administration privileges to a user, they must first be assigned to the Business Unit(s) for which they are to serve as administrator. See Modify User Access for more information.

To grant Business Unit administration privileges to a user:

  1. Log into the Marigold ID User Workspace.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. The Profile Info pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Within the Profile Info pop-up window, click Marigold ID Administration. The Marigold ID Administration environment is displayed, with the Users tab selected by default.

  3. Optionally search for the desired user (see View All Users for more information on the search options).
