Account Settings - Define Users

Liveclicker supports 2 types of accounts: the standard Account and the Master Account.

  • Master Account — This type of account represent a global account under which multiple sub-accounts reside and access rights can be provided to these sub-accounts from within the Master Account. The main advantage is that users can use the same login to the different sub-accounts and that all rights are managed from a single location. (A typical use case is a global brand, with multiple sub-brands). This account is created on request. Please reach out to support for this!

  • Standard Account — This type represents a single account, where all users are configured within that account. This is the default type of account.

Configure SSO (Admins only)

Single sign-on (SSO) is an identification method that enables users to log in to multiple applications and websites with one set of credentials. SSO streamlines the authentication process for users.

Liveclicker supports Secure Assertion Markup Language (SAML), which allows you to provide single sign-on (SSO) for your Liveclicker account using enterprise identity providers such as Active Directory and LDAP (SAML2.0 is supported for user SSO login).

For more information on SSO for your account, check out the SSO topic. If you interested specifically in SSO via Okta, please read the dedication section on how to set this up.

Activate Multi-Factor Authentication for the platform

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Liveclicker account. Before you enable MFA for your account, please download and install the Google authenticator application on your phone, which is available on the Google Play store or the Apple App store. Once MFA is enabled, it forces users to use the Google Authenticator application on their mobile device (iPhone or Android) to retrieve a security code and input the code during the login process.

For more details on Multi-Factor Authentication, check out the corresponding topic in the Resources section.
