Purchasing and charging Credits
Credits are purchased via a subscription from a Liveclicker sales representative or customer success manager (CSM). Credits are deducted from (or charged to) a user's account every time an email is opened with a Liveclicker embed code in it from the user's account.
Credits are Charged When:
-
One or more pieces of content (video, timer, etc.) render in an opened email. This is the most common case.
-
If the open cannot be directly captured, when a Liveclicker link is clicked (an inferred open) as might be the case when using mobile app deep linking with a text-based link in email, or when images are disabled in the recipient's mail client and the space where the image would have rendered is clicked through to a landing page. This is a less common case.
Additional Information Regarding Credits:
- Multiple opens result in multiple credits used.
- Credits are deducted based on total opens, not unique opens.
- Including multiple elements in an email will not result in multiple credits used, as long as they are part of the same campaign.
- If you include multiple elements from 2 different campaigns, multiple credits will be charged for each open.
- Forwarding an email to a new recipient will result in multiple credits used.
- If you embed a Liveclicker element into a web page, an impression will be reported and a credit will be debited for every view.
- If you expire a campaign, impressions will continue to be reported, but credits will not be debited.
- For more information on credits, contact your CSM or reach out to Liveclicker support for assistance.
