Create a Badge Category

To create a Badge Category:

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Settings > Badge Categories from the side navigation menu. The Badge Categories screen is displayed.

  2. In the Display Name field, enter a name for the new Badge Category.

  3. Click Create. The Edit Badge Category pop-up window is displayed.

  1. The Label field is populated with the value you entered above; optionally edit this value.

  2. The Internal Name is automatically populated based on the Display Name value. This field is not editable by default. To edit the Internal Name, check Edit Internal Name. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Ok. Edit the Internal Name value.

  3. Optionally, to assign a thumbnail image to this item, click Choose File. Browse to and select the desired image file, then click Open.

  4. Optionally, in the Description field, enter a description of this item.

  5. Click Save.

Add a Badge to a Badge Category

After creating the Badge Category, you can begin adding Badges to it. However, you can't add Badges to the Badge Category from the Badge Categories screen. Instead, you must navigate to the Badge Details screen, and add the desired Badges one at a time to the Badge Category.

To add a Badge to a Badge Category:

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Badges > Badges from the side navigation menu. The Badges screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Badge (see Search for a Badge for more information on the available search options). The Badge Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Within the header area, click the Edit icon. The Edit Badge pop-up window is displayed.

  1. From the Categories drop-down menu, select the desired Badge Category. Optionally repeat this step to assign the Badge to multiple Categories.

  2. Click Save.
