Program Setting Category - General

You can configure the General Program Settings to list categories, set up logins, format the type of logins, create access tokens, and more. General settings help you organize and configure your data to suit your business needs. Member and Program API lists can be found in this section as well.

The General Category includes the following Program Settings.

Require Country Code for Mobile Numbers

When this Program Setting is enabled, all Program API Member create or Member update requests must include a mobile number with an explicit country code; mobile numbers without a country code will fail validation. If this setting is disabled (the default setting), the system attempts to resolve the country code, normalizes the number by appending it, and saves it.

To enable this Program Setting:

  1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Require Country Code for Mobile Numbers setting.

  2. From the Value drop-down menu, select True.

  3. Click Save.

Login with mobile_phone

This setting allows you to turn on a Member’s ability to login using their mobile phone number. 

Note: This setting requires all mobile_phone Attribute values to be unique.

To enable this Program Setting: 

  1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Login with mobile_phone setting.

  2. From the Value drop-down menu, select True.

  3. Click Save.

Required Mobile Phone Format

This setting allows you to select the mobile phone country code normalization and validation.

Phone validation is done in accordance with acceptable international formats in order to deliver more accurate and comprehensive global phone validation behavior.

  1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Required Mobile Phone Format setting.

  2. Click into the Value field and select the desired Country. Repeat this step as needed.

  3. Click Save.
