The Metric Category includes the following Program Settings.
Metric Expiration Interval Roundup
Some loyalty programs utilize expiration periods for Metrics earned by Members. This Program Setting lets you “round” a Metric expiration date to the end of the month in which the points would expire. For example, let’s say a Member has earned points scheduled to expire on January 15, 2025. Instead, the expiration date is “rounded” to the end of the month, so their points will expire at the start of February instead.
This feature allows marketers to more efficiently manage and control the timing of messages to Members to warn them of impending expiration dates for their unused points.
This Program Setting can be used only by clients who have an Every Activity or Last Activity point expiration scheme. For more information on point expiration schemes, please see the Point Expiration User Guide.
To enable this Program Setting:

On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Metric Expiration Interval Roundup setting.

From the Metric Expiration Interval Roundup drop-down menu, select End of Month.

In the Metric Expiration Effectivity Start field, enter the month / year when you want the interval roundup process to take effect.

Click Save.
