View Punch Card Responses

When a Member is issued a Punch Card, the platform creates a new asset called a Punch Card Response, which is linked to that Member’s Profile. The Punch Card Response is used to track and manage the Member’s progress toward completing the Punch Card. The Punch Card Response contains the details and metadata of the Punch Card, its current status, and expiration (if it has one).

Punch Card Responses are considered a one-time use object, with their status changing to Completed once the Member has successfully finished all of the punches. If a Punch Card has been configured to allow Members to have more than one in-progress Punch Card, then each response will create a new Punch Card Response linked to the Member’s Profile, with its own status.

The Responses tab of the Punch Card Details screen is used to view and manage the Punch Card Responses for the Punch Card. This tab shows all Punch Card Responses, from all Members, to the currently selected Punch Card.

Search for a Punch Card Response

The search feature on the Responses tab allows you to search for a specified text string anywhere within several commonly-used Punch Card Response fields, including Punch Card name, Member name, and email address. You can also filter the Responses tab to show only Punch Card Responses created within a date range, or with a specified status.

To view the Punch Card Responses for a Punch Card:

  1. Select Campaigns from the top navigation bar, then select Punch Cards > Punch Cards from the side navigation menu. The Punch Cards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Punch Card (see Search for a Punch Card for more information on the available search options). The Punch Card Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Select the Responses tab.

  4. Optionally, in the Search field, enter the desired text string.

  5. Optionally, use the two date fields to define a range for "created date."

  6. Optionally, from the Status drop-down menu, select a status value: Complete or Active. The default is Any Status.

  7. Press Enter, or click the Search icon. The Responses tab is refreshed to show only the Punch Card Responses that meet your search criteria. If you enter multiple search conditions, the platform displays only the Responses that meet ALL criteria.

  1. To sort the search results, select the desired sort order from the Sort By drop-down menu. The default sort order is by: Date Created.

  2. Optionally, to remove all search criteria and revert to the default criteria, click the Clear icon.

For each Punch Card issued to a Member, the Responses tab shows the Member's name, the number of current punches on their Punch Card, the Punch Card status, and the Named Punches that the Member has completed.

View Punch Details

To view additional details for a Punch Card Response, click the Response. The platform displays the Punch Details screen, with the Activities tab selected. This tab provides detailed information about the Activities that generated each punch, such as the purchase date, purchase amount, number of punches earned, and items purchased.

Optionally click the Named Punches tab to see a list of the Named Punches earned by this Member.
