And to set you up for success from day one, we pair you with a loyalty expert who will guide you through design and onboarding, ensuring your program delivers measurable business impact.
Note: During onboarding, the Services team will configure up to ten Offers and ten Rewards, plus three Punch Cards, and one Mobile Wallet Pass if selected. After going live, you are free to create more as needed. The platform supports a maximum of 500,000 active Member Profiles.

Glossary of Terms

Certificate
A unique, single-use code distributed to a Member via an Offer. Certificates can be redeemed for something of value, such as a discount, gift, or special promotion.

Effectivity Period
The time frame during which an object (like an Offer or Reward) is considered active and available. This can be set to "always" (meaning it never expires) or defined by a fixed date range, relative time period, or recurring schedule.
Eligibility
The rules that determine whether a Member can access a particular object, such as an Offer or Reward. Eligibility is typically based on the Member’s inclusion in one or more Segments.
Member
An individual who has enrolled in your loyalty program.
Member Profile
A comprehensive record of a Member, including their status, contact details, demographics, transaction history, activity history, and Metric balances.

Metric
A tracked value within your loyalty program, most commonly used for points that Members can earn and spend. Metrics can also represent other values, like visits or miles.

Mobile Wallet Pass
A digital version of a physical loyalty card. Members can download the pass to their smartphone and present it at point-of-sale.

Offer
A promotional item — such as a discount, deal, or certificate — granted to Members for free. Offers differ from Rewards, which are typically redeemed by spending points. Offers can include barcodes, codes, URLs, and more.

Order Rules
A rule that calculates the Metrics that a Member accrues upon making a purchase.

Punch Card
A digital version of a physical loyalty punch card. Members complete a set number of “punches” (actions) to unlock an Offer or Reward. For example, “Buy 10, get 1 free.”

Response
A system-generated record created when a Member interacts with an object (such as claiming an Offer or redeeming a Reward). Every Response is linked back to the source object.
Reward
An item of value — like a coupon, gift card, or exclusive product — that a Member earns by redeeming a Metric (such as points, visits, or air miles).

Segment
A group of Members defined by shared characteristics or behaviors (e.g., demographics, purchase history). Segments can be used to target Offers, Rewards, and Punch Cards.

Tier
A way to rank Members within your loyalty program based on activity, such as total spend, number of visits, or points earned. In QSR and retail programs, Tiers are often used to reward your most loyal customers with exclusive perks — like bonus points, free items, or early access to promotions — while encouraging others to move up through increased engagement.
Triggered Action
A rule that watches for specific changes in a Member Profile. When conditions are met, the system automatically takes an action, like sending a message or updating a Member's status.
