Refresh a Segment

Loyalty provides several mechanisms for automating the process of refreshing Segments (see Getting Started with Segments for more information). In addition, the platform allows you manually refresh a Segment.

Before you can manually refresh a Segment, the following prerequisites must be completed:

  • Publish the Segment (see Publish a Segment for more information).

  • If you made any changes to the Segment Rules since the last time you deployed Segment metadata, you must deploy metadata again (see Deploy Segment Metadata for more information).

To refresh a Segment:

  1. Select Members from the top navigation bar, then select Segments from the side navigation menu. The Segments screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Segment (see Search for a Segment for more information on the available search options). The Segment Details screen is displayed. By default, the Rules tab is selected for EDP and Golden Record Segments, and the Results tab is selected for External Segments.

  1. Select the Results tab.

  2. Click Refresh Members. The system displays a progress bar, indicating the current state of the Segment execution process.

  1. When finished, the Results tab is refreshed with a list of the Members selected by the Segment. For each Member, the platform displays the following columns:

    • Member ID

    • Name

    • Email Address

    • Integration ID

    • Integration ID 2
