Challenge Details

Overview

The Challenge Details screen provides detailed information on all aspects of a single Challenge.

Access

To access the Challenge Details screen, click on the desired record from the Challenges screen.

Navigation links are provided near the top of the Challenge Details screen:

  • Back to Challenges: Click this link to return to the Challenges screen.

  • Next / Previous: Click these links to navigate to the Challenge Details screen for the next or previous Challenge.

The Challenge Details screen is organized into different sections available by clicking the appropriate tab.

Settings

The basic properties for the Offer are displayed at the top of the screen in the Header section. The features available within this section are described below.

View or Edit Challenge Properties

To view or edit the properties of the selected Challenge:

  1. In the top section of the Challenge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Challenge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the Challenge properties.

  3. Click save.

Delete a Challenge

To delete the selected Challenge:

  1. In the Header section of the Challenge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Challenge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click confirm.  

 Copy a Challenge

The Loyalty platform allows you to copy a Challenge to use as the basis for a new Challenge. To copy a Challenge:

  1. In the Header section of the Challenge Details screen, click the Copy button.

  2. The system creates a new Challenge and displays the Challenge Details screen. The default name of the new Challenge is the name of the original Challenge, followed by a counter, such as "(1)."

 Set Status and Effectivity Period

To set the status, overall effectivity period, and assignees for a Challenge:

  1. In the top-right section of the Challenge Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Challenge" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. From the "Status" drop-down menu, select the desired status value -- Draft, Published, or Archive

  3. Make any necessary changes to the Challenge's effectivity. The effectivity designates the time frame during which Members can view and respond to the Challenge. Valid values are:

  • Always: This Challenge doesn't expire.

  • Scheduled: Enter a start date and end date, and select the time zone. Optionally, check "Recurring" to use a recurring schedule. Select the desired schedule from the "Recurring Schedule" drop-down menu, or define a new recurring schedule (see below for details on that process).

  • Relative: Select a date Attribute to use as the starting point for the relative date calculation. Enter a frequency and an interval, such as "30 days." Optionally check use current year and / or until end of day. 

  1. From the "Assignees" drop-down menu, select one or more users as assignees for this Challenge. Choosing an assignee gives ownership, or responsibility, to one or more users in your account.

  2. Click save.

To define a new recurring schedule for this item's effectivity:

  1. From the Recurring Schedule drop down menu, select Enter Schedule. The Repeat pop up window is displayed.

  2. Select a recurrence frequency of Weeklyor Monthlyfrom the Frequency drop down menu.

  3. In the text field, enter the interval.

  4. For a Weekly frequency, select one or more days of the week. For example, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  5. For a Monthly frequency, choose one of the following options:

  • Day of month: Select one or more days of the month. Ex: the 15th and the 30th.

  • Day of week: Select one or more days of the week, for each of the four weeks within a month. Ex: the second Wednesday of the month.

  1. Click ok. The system adds the new schedule to the Recurring Schedule drop down menu.
