Social Integration Introduction
- Social login: the process where a user logs in on a website using his social profile (example his Facebook account). By doing so his social account is linked to the account used for the website.
- Numerous social widgets: through the use of widgets information can be shared and liked, tweets can be posted, comments given, recommendations consulted. The list is long and continues to grow every time Facebook or 'X' (formerly Twitter) adds new possibilities.
- Social data and profile enrichment: the availability of posted social data in a journey and the possibility to automatically store additional social data on a user in a profile extension after a social login has been performed.
- Social messaging: posting of messages on a social network. This is an action performed from within a journey where a message is posted on the companies' social network or directly on a user's social profile.
- Personalized content on social networks
To enable the use of social Login and widgets following requirements need to be fulfilled:
1. An application needs to be created in the corresponding social network
2. An application must be created in Selligent.
