Social Login and Widgets

Social login, as stated before, is the possibility to log on to a website using the social network account. By doing this login is faster and easier for a user and the user's social account is tied to the account used to log on to the website. A token is provided to the website, providing it with access to the social data of the user.

Social login is currently available for Facebook, 'X' (formerly Twitter) and Janrain.

The integration with Facebook and 'X' (formerly Twitter) is supported and maintained by Selligent. On the other hand, Janrain provides social login integration with a wide range of social networks.

Janrain is a social vendor which provides social login for numerous social networks including 'X' (formerly Twitter), Google, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Yahoo, AOL and many more. Check out http://janrain.com/products/engage/social-login/ for more details.

This social login is typically useful when subscribing to a newsletter or participating in a contest. By integrating social login in Selligent Campaign, a social account can be linked to the Audience list.

Besides social login, Selligent provides other widgets as well, allowing specific actions to be taken. Below a list is provided. The mentioned widgets are used on Selligent pages that are rendered in a website.

When designing a message, widgets can be added through dedicated components provided at the right of the main window.
