Configure Reward Advanced Options

The Advanced Options tab of the Reward Details screen contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections, described below in more detail.

To edit the options within a specific section:

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Rewards > Rewards from the side navigation menu. The Rewards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Reward (see Search for a Reward for more information on the available search options). The Reward Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  1. Select the Advanced Options tab.

  1. Click Edit (being sure to click the Edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The Edit Offer pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Enter the desired configuration options.

  3. Click Save.

Limits Section

This section is used to define various limitations or restrictions on this Reward.

  • Allow API Responses: If enabled, allows the platform to reference this Reward in API responses. Typically, this feature should be enabled.

  • Overall Limit: Define a maximum limit (across all Members) that this Reward can be redeemed within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Maximum Responses per Member: Define a maximum limit that this Reward can be redeemed by each Member within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Response Interval: Define a period of time that must elapse after a Member redeems this Reward, before they can redeem this Reward again. Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter an interval and a period of time (such as “7 days” for example).

  • Minimum Required Metric: Define a minimum Metric total that a Member must have accrued in order to be eligible to redeem this Reward. In the text field, enter the minimum limit. From the drop-down menu, select a Metric.

  • Minimum Required Tier: Define a minimum Tier that a Member must have achieved in order to be eligible to redeem this Reward. From the drop-down menu, select the minimum Tier.

Acceptance of Terms Section

This section allows you to enter the text of your legal terms and conditions. When entering this text, you can optionally include a link by enclosing the link text within double brackets. For example: "I agree to the [[terms]]." Enter the link destination in the URL field. Optionally check Require to require the Member to accept the terms and conditions.

Note: Some of the fields in this section support the use of localized content. These fields are marked with a globe icon. Be sure to select the tab for the desired locale before entering or editing content in these fields.

Business Section

This section allows you to assign a monetary value to a Reward Response.

  • Business Value: Enter the monetary value of the Reward Response.

Message Section

This section allows you to enter Reward "submission accepted" text, and to assign a Message. The Submission Accepted Text field supports the use of localized content.

Sharing Section

This section is used to specify how a Member’s response is shared to a News Feed.

  • Share on News Feed: Select either Manual Sharing, On Submission, or On Approval.

  • News Feed Name: Select the desired News Feed.

Placement Section

  • Show in Rewards: Select Yes or No.

  • Show to Public: Select Yes or No.

Show to Public is an optional feature that will generate a JSON file to be presented on a website or app to non-Members. This feature is designed to showcase the Rewards available in your loyalty program, in order to encourage non-Members to enroll. Using this option will add the details of this Reward to that JSON file, which will then need to manually be added to your website by your web developers. Please speak with your Professional Services team for information about enabling this feature.

  • Show Only if Respondable: Select Yes or No.

Show Only if Respondable is an optional feature that will allow a Reward to be displayed to a Member only if they are eligible and have enough Metrics to claim it.

Static Files Section

Images or other files added to the Reward content in the Content Editor will appear within this section. From this section, you can:

  • Attach a file: Click Attach. The Add Static File pop-up window is displayed. Either drag-and-drop the file onto the target area in this window, or click the target area to browse to and select a file on your local PC. A preview is displayed. Optionally enter a Display Name and Description. Click Create.

  • View a file: Click the file name. From this window, you can also download the file to your local PC by clicking the Download link.

  • Edit file properties: Select Action > Edit next to the desired file. The Edit File pop-up window is displayed. Optionally change the file's Display Name or Description

  • Replace a file: Select Action > Edit next to the desired file. The Edit File pop-up window is displayed. Click Choose File, then browse to and select the desired file on your local PC. When finished, click Save. Please note, if uploading a replacement file, the new file must have the same filename as the existing static file.

  • Delete a file: Select Action > Delete next to the desired file. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Confirm.
