Overview

The Advanced tab for a Punch Card is used to view and edit a variety of advanced features and options.

The features available on the Advanced tab are described below.  

Configure Advanced Options

The Advanced tab contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections. From this screen you can define the following information about a Punch Card:

  • Limits. Configure the following options: 

  • Allow API Responses: If enabled, allows the platform to reference this Punch Card in API responses. Typically, this should be enabled. 

  • Overall Maximum Punch Cards: Set a total number of instances of this Punch Card that can be issued across all Members. Uncheck no limit, then enter the number and a date range. 

  • Maximum Punch Cards per Person: Set a total number of instances of this Punch Card that can be issued to a single Member. Uncheck no limit, then enter the number and a date range. 

  • Response Interval: Define a period of time that must elapse between each punch. Uncheck no limit, then enter the number and time interval.

  • Minimum Required Metric: Restrict who can get issued this Punch Card by setting a minimum threshold for a point metric. For example, only Members that have earned 1000 Reward Points are eligible to use this Punch Card. Enter the number and select a point metric. 

  • Minimum Required Tier: Restrict who can get issued this Punch Card by setting a minimum Tier that the Member must achieve. For example, only Silver Tier Members or higher are eligible to use this Punch Card. Select the desired Tier. 

  • Message: Use this Punch Card in a Message.

  • Other Settings: Configure the following options:

  • Value Match Mode: Select either Exact Match or Starting With. 

  • Personalization Source: For Punch Cards with personalization, select the source of the personalization value: either Profile Attribute or Lookup. 

To edit the options within a specific section:

  1. Click edit (being sure to click the edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The "Edit Punch Card" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the options displayed within the "Edit Punch Card" pop-up window.

  3. Click save.
