Connection Profile Details

Overview

The Connection Profile Details screen provides all of the information about the selected Connection Profile.

Access

To access the Connection Profile Details screen, click on the desired Connector type from the Connectors screen, then click the desired Connection Profile.

Navigation links are provided near the top of the Connection Profile Details screen:

  • Back to <Connector type> Profiles: Click this link to return to the list of Connectors of the selected type

Features

View or Edit Connection Profile Properties

To view or edit the properties of the selected Connection Profile:

  1. In the top section of the Connection Profile Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Connection Profile" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Make any necessary changes to the Connection Profile properties.

  3. Click save.  

Copy a Connection Profile

The platform allows you to copy a Connection Profile to use as the basis for a new Connection Profile. To copy a Connection Profile:

  1. In the top section of the Connection Profile Details screen, click the Clone icon.

  2. The system creates a new Connection Profile and displays the Connection Profile Details screen. The default name of the new Connection Profile is the name of the original Connection Profile, followed by an incremental counter, such as "(1)."  

Delete a Connection Profile

To delete a Connection Profile:

  1. In the top section of the Connection Profile Details screen, click the Edit icon. The "Edit Connection Profile" pop-up window is displayed.

  2. Click delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click confirm.

Test a Connection Profile

Some Connector types allow you to test the Connection Profile settings to ensure that you can connect to the external site. To test a Connection Profile:

  1. In the top section of the Connection Profile Details screen, click the Play icon.

  2. The platform displays the results of the connection test.
