Quiz Abandon Template

The Abandoned Quiz use cases enable you to engage with contacts who showed intent by starting a quiz but did not finish. You can re-engage these contacts by sending targeted messages to complete the quiz, for example by offering incentives such as a reward.
Every step of the process is tracked. For example, with a quiz, you can identify the exact question where a visitor stopped.

With the Quiz Abandon template you can

  • Recover lost leads and sales by nudging contacts to complete the quiz.
  • Strengthen personalization by guiding contacts back to tailored results.
  • Increase engagement and build brand affinity.

To be able to track the behavior of the visitor in the quiz and to detect when a specific action has started, stopped or completed, the following events are tracked and sent as signals to the Moments application: Start, Update and Complete. These signals are then captured by the Quiz Abandon Moment.

When setting up a Quiz Abandon Moment, the following specific properties need to be set. (Check out the topic on creating a Moment for more details.):

Duration — Indicates the number of days, hours or minutes that need to pass after a customer started the quiz but did not complete it.

Example: At 14h, a customer starts a quiz. An hour later the quiz has not been completed yet and no updates have been made. The Quiz Abandon Moment is triggered.

Example:
First create the Quiz Abandon Moment and fill out the name, description and select the Audience configuration to apply to this Moment.

Next, in the properties, set the time delay after which the quiz is considered as abandoned and the Moment is triggered, for example after 8 hours of inactivity on the quiz.
