Set Up The Integration With Marigold Moments
The Moments application is used in combination with your marketing platform (to send out omni-channel communications) and with your various touch points, such as your website or mobile app. Behavior registered on these touch points, whether it is a cart abandon on your website, or a booking being completed in your app, needs to be tracked and sent to the Signals API. As a result of a signal, a Moment is triggered which in its turn triggers a journey on your marketing platform.
In this chapter we will explain the integration between the Marigold Moments application and the possible touch points.
Signals from your touch point need to be captured and sent to the Signals API. Depending on the use cases that need to be covered, different signals need to be tracked. Check out this topic for an overview of the available signals and the templates/use cases these are used for. Make sure to include all the necessary signals, regardless of the chosen method.
