New Features in Marigold Moments
Abandon Configuration Moments now available
AVAILABLE TO ALL USERS
BACKGROUND:
A series of abandonment Moments were already in place to engage customers at critical points—such as during a purchase, game-play, or booking process. However, many customers begin configuring a service, booking, or product (like a car) but fail to complete it. Tracking these incomplete configurations is equally important to avoid losing potential customers. Timely interaction and support during this stage can encourage completion and help build long-term customer loyalty.
SOLUTION:
The Configuration Abandon template enables you to engage customers who have started configuring a car, holiday, or service but haven't completed the process within a specified time frame. These customers can receive targeted messages offering assistance, incentives to complete their configuration, or both. Additionally, when a visitor is actively configuring, relevant details—such as the options they've selected so far—can be included in the communication to provide a more personalized experience.
What it looks like in the solution:
A new Configuration Abandon template is now available.
The time after which a configuration is considered as abandoned is configurable for each template.

A Series of new signals now at your disposal in the Signals API
AVAILABLE TO ALL USERS
BACKGROUND:
Signals that capture a visitor’s behavior on your website enable real-time engagement and interaction. The more signals you collect, the greater your opportunities for timely and relevant responses.
SOLUTION:
A new set of signals is now available through the API, enabling you to capture specific customer behaviors and respond in real time. These signals can directly trigger a journey, eliminating the need to define a separate Moment.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE SOLUTION:
- A new Milestone signal is available, tracking specific milestones in a visitor's lifecycle, such as an anniversary, reaching a new loyalty tier or even a new level in a game. React to such a signal by sending a congratulations message, an update on the current Loyalty tier or extra credits for the next level in a game...
- Four order related signals, tracking an order's delay, delivery, shipment or return, allowing you to send updates statuses to your customers.
- Two new service lifecycle signals, to track a service disruption or resume of the service.
New Functionality in the Moments Overview
AVAILABLE TO ALL USERS
BACKGROUND:
Ease of use and customer experience are valuable aspects of any solution. To improve on this, some changes have been made to to the Moments overview page, to accommodate for environments with a large number of Moments configured.
SOLUTION:
Previously, configured Moments were available as a flat list, making it difficult to find a Moment in a large list. Now, searching and locating the right Moment in the overview is more user friendly, by offering a search functionality and pagination.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THE SOLUTION:
A Search field has been added to the Moments overview, allowing you to search for a Moment using the name.
More information on this overview can be found in the Interface topic.
