Lookup selects information on a 1:n linked list. You include or exclude contacts that 'have' a value in the 1:N linked list. If the contact has at least one record in the 1:N linked list, that comply to the constraint, they will be included in (or excluded from) the selection.
- Operation: include or exclude records based on the filter content
- Lookup list: related 1:n list where information is retrieved from
- Define filter:define the filter in the 1:N linked list. Clicking the button launches a second filter designer in which the filter is configured on the 1:N linked list.
- Filter: filter defined in the 1:N linked list
Examples:
- Contacts who purchased last week
- Contacts who purchased for more than 100$ last week
- Contacts that have not purchased for over a year
- Buyers and non buyers
- Account created last month but no purchase
